The Hunted Book

The hunted book was an order for a program about books that were treating hunting and fishing topics. I draw for it scenes about the hunt or fish of a Book in the style of the most important periods in the history of the Book illustration. I selected the medieval illuminations, the first xylographys, the Renaissance border, the Enlightenment encyclopedia images, Victorian engravings, the modernist exlibris and a bauhaus style illustration.
