The contemporary drawing has a freedom of expression and technique that gives the artist complete flexibility to reflect the intention of the work almost directly, automatically.
That quality of the current drawing extends to the cartoon, which far beyond standard techniques and comprehensive drawing for childrens, animation today employs creative freedom and a lot of techniques and styles of expression.
In this sense, the current animation is part of contemporary artistic expression.
The following shows five very different styles of artistic drawing, perfectly suited to the message and the expressive intention of each author and connect with current forms of contemporary drawing.
I do not pretend made direct connections, and I do not not think they exist, but only show trends and common resources between this animatiors and artists like David Hockney, David Salle, Sigmar Polke, Miquel Barceló and Kiki Smith.

El dibujo contemporáneo posee una libertad expresiva y técnica que le otorga al artista una flexibilidad absoluta para reflejar la intención, casi de manera directa, automática,.
Esa cualidad del dibujo actual se extiende también al dibujo animado, donde mucho más allá de técnicas estandarizadas de dibujo infantil y comprensible, la animación creativa de hoy emplea una gran cantidad y libertad de técnicas y estilos expresivos.
En este sentido, la animación actual forma parte de la expresión artística contemporánea.
A continuación muestro cinco estilos muy diferentes de dibujo artístico, perfectamente ajustado al mensaje y la intención expresiva de cada autor y que entroncan con formas actuales de dibujo contemporáneo.
No pretendo establecer paralelismos directos, no creo que existan, sino mostrar tendencias y recursos comunes, al nombrar en relación con estas animaciones a artistas como David Hockney, David Salle, Sigmar Polke, Miquel Barceló y Kiki Smith.

Rotoscoping is a technique was invented by Mark Fleischer around 1912 and used extensively in the classic animated film. La Rotoscopia es una técnica inventada por Mark Fleischer aproximadamente en 1912 y usada habitualmente en el cine de animación clásico. Hoy tiene una gran cantidad de posibilidades expresivas y creativas al usarla con la mayor libertad que nos permite ahora nuestra cultura visual. Con la rotoscopia se puede experimentar de una forma muy efectiva y con muy buenos resultados con el trazo, el color y la forma, creando la sensación de dibujos del natural en movimiento.
Los cinco trabajos que vienen a continuación tienen la característica de usar la Rotoscopia de una forma muy libre y creativa, muy cercana al dibujo contemporáneo de artistas como Martin Kippenberger, David Salle o Daniel Richter. Aprovechan la fuerza del reconocimiento instantáneo de la realidad por medio de la Rotoscopia para exprimir sus límites, subvertirlos y encontrar nuevas asociaciones.
